One photo, one video, says it all...
Here the video taken just now. My apology for its rather unskilled. But still, my handphone did the job for me. Nonetheless here's a song dedicated to you, enjoy...

Spider-man Pays Off His Bill With A Drawing
If one day you end up broke, experiencing draught in your pocket, or in a huge debt that beyond your reach to settle, here's a solution you might want to give it a try... well, if it works on you.
The itsy bitsy spider
Crawled up the water spout
Down came the rain
And washed the spider out
Out came the sun
And dried up all the rain
So the itsy bitsy spider
Went up the spout again!
Apparently there is a guy named David Thorne have an outstanding amount of overdue payment $233.95. So the representative from the utility company, Jane Gilles, was send to follow up on the matter and inquire him to settle the payment within the next 7 days.
To her amusement, he replied the mail stating that he do not have any money, however he attached with a drawing, which he claimed to be worth $233.95. Theoretically, it doesnt make sense considering how possibly could a digital drawing cost that much. Plus, they cant accept the drawing as payment. Wondering how the drawing looks like?
Realizing that Jane Gilles couldnt be stupefied, David Thorne make another attempt to negotiate. Here what's he wrote in his mail.
Hello, I am back and have read through your emails and accept that despite missing a leg, that drawing of a spider may indeed be the one I sent you. I realise with hindsight that it is possible you rejected the drawing of a spider due to this obvious limb ommission but did not point it out in an effort to avoid hurting my feelings. As such, I am sending you a revised drawing with the correct number of legs as full payment for any amount outstanding. I trust this will bring the matter to a conclusion.
Honestly speaking, he has a very tactful manner of writing... and very "mou liu". KEK AH!!!
Of cause, this matter doesnt came to a conclusion that early. David posted his spider drawing in eBay and guess how much he earned? $15,000!!! But a sad case, Patrick Munoz isnt going to pay a single penny, else it would be a real laughing stock. LOL.
Full email could be found in this link, and the article is here. Worth a read.

A Month Left
20th November, the morning after rain. Time passes pretty fast when you least take it into account. One minute you're grumbling that waiting is an agony, while the other you're thanking GOD for shifting its gear to a higher level. Ironically, you were contradicting yourself within the matter of days. LOL.
Next month today, i'll be half around the world from where i am now. I'll be in UK. And for the record, this would be my furthest travel in my life. It'll be winter during that time, which means i'll be freezing when i set foot from the plane. Guess i'll be wrapping like dumplings? But hey, will it snow? Hope it does...
I'll be away for 3 weeks, starting from 20th December '08 till 10th January '09. Thus i'll be celebrating Christmas and welcoming New Year at a foreign ground. Would dear readers be missing the updates on The Journey? Well, if i could online, i'll post a little here and there.
I guess there's pretty much to do by now. Draw a list of things i need to bring, stuffs i need to buy. Some shopping to do; some preparation to make. Hmm... but before i leave, i guess i could still attend SzeSze's wedding dinner, food hunt at Ipoh, StarWalk 2008 and my department hotel stay (if it managed to carry out).
Anticipation... and i just cant wait.

ITD Team Building 2008
Last Saturday my department had a team building at Paradise Sandy Bay Hotel, Tanjung Bungah. The place where i took my Deakin Uni final exam for degree. This is the 3rd team building i've attended since the first day i stepped into this company. So basically its like once a year.
Being apart of the committee members certainly have a lot of things to do. Research on several hotels, negotiate on the prices and quotations, allocation of the budgets, attendances and groupings, preparation of prizes, door gifts and lucky draws, activities and events. In addition, each group has to come out with a presentation. Work work.
There are plenty of prices to be won. Enough for all, so everyone wont be going home empty handed. Many thanks to our big boss, Ms Sharon Ooi, for sponsoring us mountains of presents and gifts.
We named ourselves WuGui for its calmness in whatever scenario, resilient and never-give-up spirit. Ironically we end up like WuGui. LOL. Here's my group member...
Here are the photos during the team building, click to enlarge. Except for the last event where limbo rock wasnt really an ideal game for those who are rather tall and aged. I managed to qualify, but not able to stand out for my team. Oops...
At the end of the day, our team only managed to grab the third placing out of four. But hey... we got what we want in the prices. In fact, all of us had a great time, and that whats really matters. Hehee. Good job everyone. I salute you...
Overall the games wasnt exactly nice. Some reason out their ideas; some suggest an alternative games, giving rooms for improvement. However the opinions are, one thing is for sure... each and everyone of us are happy. Bringing us closer to each other, learning to work together, building a team spirit... thats what this event is for, Team Building.
I made this photo myself. Happy moments where everyone is having a good time at the dance floor. Suave to the music, groove to the move. Dancing like there's no tomorrow, free one's soul... I love this picture.

So Much For Streamyx
I strongly believe that when i say Streamyx is the best, i'll be bombarded with shoes or anything thats smelly or dirty, or maybe tomatoes and vegetables. A general statement to all, we dont hate Streamyx, its just that at times we would prefer a better service with our hard earn money paid.
Im living with the connection speed of 512kbps and it cost my family RM66 (without modem).
And just to brush up a little, here's what UK is providing its citizen.
With the monthly fees of £18, they could enjoy 24MB connectivity. Let me do the math for you, thats around RM100 for 24MB. Suffering here in Malaysia, RM100 could only earn you a 1MB. Its 24 folds!!!
In more sarcastic manner, we are 24 times behind UK. Well, that "24" is a variable that exponentially increases its integer, thats what i thought. Ladies and gentlemen, if you were to benchmark our country, the figure itself is enough to justify where we are now. That is how far we are left behind, an inconvenience truth.
Just picture what i could do if i could get my 24MB... Every Tuesday when the new episode of Heroes is out, the next minute, i could get it done. Imagine downloading 1GB of file in an hour, thats how cool it is. Whatever that i want from movie to anime, mp3 to files, i could have it the very next moment i click on the download button. Impressive isnt it?
Back to reality... im still struggling with my endlessly disappointing connection.
If there's any good in Streamyx, do feel free to correct me...

Cute's Blogger Award
you've just been tagged with an award for being cute or having a cute blog, whichever cuter =P
Wow, i've been awarded with Cute's Blogger Award 2008. A cute award isnt it? Many thanks to ShinYin for giving out this piece of recognition to me, in this entry. Though honestly i dont see any cute elements in here, but i appreciate your effort and thats very kind of you.
Guess i too have to follow the rules. But still, *ahem*, i aint going to write so much about myself or how my blog looks like... basically just to the point. Cut the suspense, straight to the awards.
These are the 9 blogs in my network which i think are cute. Or definately cute cute or have something to do with the cuteness. However do note that its order according to alphabetical.
- Adam Yeoh on Adam's Creek
- Amy Ooi on Life Within Memories
- Eileen Khor on Journey So Far
- Henrick Lim on Life
- Phoenie Tam on Dreamland
- ShinYin on Confessions Of A Medical Students
- Shirley Khor on Sweet Like Chocolate
- Vince Yeoh on Vince's Footsteps
And the top award of the Cutest Blogger Award under my selection from my network goes to, non other but my dear, Ms Shu Fong on Blek. Cute doesnt it? Sweet.
*applause*
P.S. Another random update...

Home Alone
It seems quiet here. Silence...
Except to the sound from my speaker, playing my current favourite Korean song, which i dont understand a single bit. But i understand sayang he yo. =)
My parents are in KL over the weekends, that makes me home alone.
Feeling i want to cook something to eat. Its the only time i could experience cooking besides instant noodles. The only moment i could mess up the kitchen also. LOL. I want to be eating spaghetti carbonara. I still could remember how to prepare it... as for now, eyes are heavy... Let me take a rest. Chaoz...

Tattoo
I've always wanted a tattoo. I dont know, probably at this age of mine, it feels cool to have one. You know what i mean? Whatever makes you happy...
Was i inspired by Hitman? Or was it because of the job specification that im involved? I want to tattoo a barcode; one dimension barcode. Its cool dont you think so? Imagine you walk around a shopping mall, then one of your friend come up to you and use the barcode scanner and scan on it. It come out RM25.99, and ladies and gentlemen, that's how much you cost. LOL. Okay, that was a lame joke... =x
Was at Bali for the past few days, and i was worried at the beginning thinking it would be time consuming and costly. Considering our tour guard is waiting for us at the other end of the road, i sound reluctant.
After some detailed question being made, it surprise me that it only took a minute or two to complete the tattoo drawing. Roughly 30 minutes to let it dry and there you have it. It cost around 40 thousand!!! in Rupiah not Ringgit, thats around RM14.50 (since i buy it at 2750 Rupiah per Ringgit).
Had it my right arm, refer to the photo below. It so YENG. So awesome. It a fake tattoo in case you are still wondering. It only last for about 2 weeks or less. Non permanent.
It's now slowly fading though. Being in Bali, apart from surfing, spa and massage this like a MUST TRY item. So... before its fully washed away, i'll enjoy the unique design on my arm. Tattoo.

Snippet From Bali
Im still waiting for my friends to send me photos from Bali. Hope it wont be long. However, these are some of the photos tagged to me from my facebook for your viewing.
I simply love this sight. The Tanah Lot temple. As you can see from this photo, its taken during low tight. During high tight, its totally impossible to walk to the temple on foot, it's like turning into an island itself. Thats why its also known as the floating temple.
Craved out of the landscape by tides, wind and rains, the huge offshore sentinel rock, the site of a picturesque sea-temple dating from the 16th century. The breaking surf surrounding the temple enriches the fantastic sunset panorama that could be experienced in the late afternoon. Its indeed beautiful, and one of the wonders in Bali.
