Could It Be GSC Cinema In Queensbay Mall Is Haunted

I received a mail the other day as soon as i walk into my office. It appears that there's some strange and unusual sighting when you're trying to make an online purchase of ticket(s) on GSC Cinema website.

It's said that regardless of movie, time and day, in Hall 8 of GSC Cinema Queensbay Mall Penang, there are always 4 seats being taken up. What makes it eerie is that its always the same 4 seats in Hall 8! Seats number F1, F2, F3 and F4. Thus you cant possibly buy that seats online. Most probably you would reply that the seats are broken or under repair. If you notice, those seats are not indicated as "under repair".

The curious me had tried to check it out and to my surprise, whats being claimed are true. It doesnt matter with what movie being screened, or the time and the day, those 4 seats in Hall 8 will always be made unavailable to purchase online.

The question is, WHY? Why is it so? Whats the underlying truth behind the curtain? Is there any unspeakable reason that shall not be told? Could it be a mishap had once occurred in those seats, thats why they are locked? Are they haunted? Could it be as simple as just a bug or the system's faulty? Or is it merely just some reserved seats for the employees?

There's every right for you to doubt on my 2 cents worth. My urge for those who dont believe me, please go to the website and find out yourself. The truth is out there...

It not just happened to that cinema, but other cinemas too.

According to contrary belief, those seats are usually 'reserved' for those 'things' so that they won't bother the other movie-goers. :)

Tolanic: I agree! I tried to check it out at other halls and its the same. Seems to have several seats occupied.

Ekoy: That was what i thought when i first look at it. But i heard from some of the source that they are reserved for the employees to watch. However i dont know to what extend they are true.

Amy: I kaypo, so i call my boss to translate for me. =x

Sean Ong: Probably...

LOL.. what should I say? I received this email as well and I thought it was replied by the QBM GSC Manager itself that they will reserve those seats for cases like system faulty that sold duplicate tickets to customers (which happens frequently)?

It's just up to what you want to believe, if you want to think about the "thing", then we all know QBM was once a more than 10 years abandoned premises which might have tons of "things" in there. :P

Phoenie: Thanks. Do feedback to me when you check it out if its really empty during that timing. Just dont let the curiosity kills the cat ya... ^^

Henrick: I prefer to believe there something eerie it. The thought of its left for ages till the whole project continue, surely attract those "things".

Now, in Queensbay Hall 8, D19-D22 are always taken up, not F1-F4 anymore.

Last night, i was in GSC Midvalley watching Insidious 2, i seated on the 2nd last row at the back of the hall. I knew the four seats beside me were "under repair", because i saw the sign when i bought the ticket at the counter. Since i didn't want to sit beside another person, i moved to that "under repair" seat. I checked the chair and it was alright, nothing spoilt and normal. Today, my head felt dizzy and whole body aching from morning till now. Weird. I hope i didn't make the ghosts angry.
