Cute isnt it?

Brought my new toy at Jusco, Bukit Mertajam. Yup, the new shopping complex that just opened over the weekend. And, it cost me quiet some cash... =x

The Scent

Its not by the color of the skin; the circle of the eyes; nor the curve of the hair. How much difference is uniquely special? The water doesnt taste, so does the air you breathe. But what makes a rhythm rhyme or the bells chime?

For the least it is, if you stop and stare, still and smell... its there. It may be faint, but "NO", you wont faint. Subtle. Just enough to pop your leg; enough to sweep off your feet. Its familiar, does it feels like home? Does it fill your senses and loses your defenses?

You thought perhaps it might be true. The best thing in life doesnt cost a penny, million dollars doesnt weights the value. A natural scent. And that... is the next best thing after you.


Thus i wonder... wondering if you're able to find me in a masquerade party then?

Footprints In The Sand

"That have to be Scorpio", or so he thought. Wasnt much an astrological person, but judging by the tail of its, it seems like one.

Enormous count of stars above us, forming its own constellation, beautifying the scene. The night was lovely, accompanied by dimmed light from the resorts and accommodations, giving sight to the people around it. The bended coconut trees. The lighthouse across the ocean. The reflections from the sea.

Cool gentle breeze caressing our face; warm tender wave tapping our feet. The sand was damp and soft, creating an array of footprints as we walked by hand in hand from where we left. Moving on to a harder ground, we lay down, side by side, forgetting the world. The sea wave humming its own melody, bringing a sense of tranquility, serenity. Its relaxing; its soothing.

Twinkling white dots blanketing the dark skies. Shining, shimmering and sparkling. The clouds are mild, residing in their state of isolation, giving a clear view of the starry night. With the white-yellowish pearl humbly portraying itself in a near rounded circle to our right, the moon seems very close to us. Its like a painting that only be found in art gallery. What we have is so beautiful, a GOD-made backdrop. Its breathtaking and overwhelming.

Surfing down the library, browsing through the tracks, for the right theme. Classic yet contemporary...

How grateful we are in this night that is so perfect, and GOD had been very kind to us. How better could it be? Mesmerizing us with its magical touch. We stay long... long enough to enjoy and cherish this sweet lovely night.

V Move

I feel like blogging but im not sure what would be the better topic to share... So here's me introducing my dear readers with my new eyewear.

I've been considering about wearing contact lense since its more feasible at times i need it to. However after much thoughts, somehow i still go back to square one. Specs. Perhaps, should i go for a change?

I enjoy wearing this new pair of glasses. Mixture of black and blue. Reminds me of Backstreet Boys' album.

It gives me the feel of something new; something trendy. Yes, no doubt its a maintenance that needed to commit every year or so. But to think about it, fashion, at least its something i could have. A new image.

I like my new eyewear... =)

Old Town's Discrepancy (Part II)

This entry, is the continual/ follow up from the previous Old Town Discrepancy posted on July. Guess its about time to feedback on the findings as well.

Does efficiency and response time able justify the effectiveness of a system? For instance, Old Town franchise. Due to the difference of prices in some of the branches, my friend Eileen, mailed to Old Town to clarify some of pondering thoughts on the exact same day. She's fast.

Here it goes...
"Hie. I would like to know is the price for the food in all OldTown outlets the same or each outlet has its own price? Because at the moment, i have come across 2 outlets in Penang with 2 different price and im kinda surprise and taken a back at the standard of OldTown. Please clarify. Thanks in advance."

Dann: guess how long does it takes to reply?
Eileen: they say 5 days
Dann: o.O
Eileen: "Do use this general inquiry form and send us an email to OLDTOWN. Your email will be answered personally by a member of the team within the next 5 working days."
Dann: that should be... this weekend =)

Patiently we waited. By the time im posting this, its now 20 days, and still without a single reply. OldTown... guess the name already explains itself... =x

However, according to Phoenie who has a friend once work at one of the Old Town branches, said this, "Different branches in Old Town have different manager in charge. And in each branches there are allow to have their own prices on items sold. BUT, there are a minimal and maximal amount of increment they must obey. Else the value would be too much of difference."

A New Venture?

Should i? Or should i not?

It was in the morning, immediately after my breakfast, when this invitation knocks at my door. It was from someone with a familiar sight, however we didnt know each other by name.

He is forming a team of peoples to develop a system. Lets call him L at the moment since its kinda cool with the "L" initial. Death Note. Perfectly match with his mysterious appearance when he confronted me today, thanks to SookMei's recommendation.


There would be quite a number of peoples involved. Mostly are in their field of expertise in different areas. Ranging from Double-E to Robotic Engineering, IT to Marketing. So basically, im not alone in the programming world if i accept the offer.

The exact scope, im not pretty sure at the moment, which is why my confidence level is quite below par even though im interested. Zero knowledge of what im suppose to do until further details and discussions. The technical level seems to be difficult, which means there would be loads of researches and studies involved into the frame of work.

Sit back and look around, i've seen couple of my colleagues missed their chances in securing a better spot of lifestyle. Somehow i questioned myself...
What if this is it? What if this is all there is to my life?

I dont want my life to be written in where i am. If i stay within my loop, i'll never know whats ahead of me, or hows the world would be. This might be the opportunity for a better prospect. A chance to be more than a name, or a face in the crowd. A place where i could test my limits, how far i can go.

If the project turns out to be a success, bright future awaits me. However, if it fails... there's nothing to lose (i suppose). But the question is, will i be able to live up to it?

This might be the time. To try something new; to venture into something beyond my niche; to explore what is there. I wanna make a difference in my life!!!

"Ti Ta Ti Ta", the sound comes from the rooftop. Humming its own melody. Not too light nor heavy, just enough to present itself in a cozy manner.

Its been raining for hours now, and im not carrying an umbrella. Quite unusual for the month like this to rain so much. April fall has over, but it doesnt seems to stop. Or was it he doesnt want it to end? For at least there's someone above, shed the tears of heaven understanding his emotions. So he doesnt need to feel alone.

The world looks like a classic television in mono color. Black and white; dull and dry. Where had he placed the forgotten smile? Heartache. Eyes become tired and heavy; everything become still and steady.

Let me sleep, let me rest; let me lay down and forget the world...

Im indecisive. Im not ready... How should i proceed?

Inconvenience Truth

Wonderful place isnt it? But for how wonderful and fascinating it is, it wont last long. Look at the picture below where the sea water level increases by 10m.

That is what's going to happen in the next 10 years!!!

Okay, im just kidding. However ladies and gentlemen, this is inevitable.

GLOBAL WARMING!!!

Lets study the map carefully shall we? As the ice melts in both North and South poll, it will cause the sea water level to increase constantly... Or rather, exponentially. The whole Georgetown and Bayan Lepas are in serious problems. As for Seberang Prai, its worst. So there goes my AutoCity... =(

It may not be directly damaging our home and living, but when that happens, the land area shrinks, land price increases, worse when the affected or flooded area are like Penang, the industrial area are GONE!!!

Fortunately, i wont be much of a serious victim considering where im staying. BUT it doesnt last long either. Its getting hotter outside. Even when the moment im typing this, im sweating as well.

We should start acting now. Putting words into actions. Else, our world doesnt differ much from what being shown in the picture above in years to come...
