Transformers ROTF Human Alliance Bumblebee Modification

Basically for Human Alliance Bumblebee, everything was near to perfect. One of the few flaws is the feet. The movie version have the wheels placed outwards from its leg, however its rather different from the HA version.

before

So... going through the internet as a reference, i finally get it more of movie accurate.

It certainly looks better now... ^^

Paper Craft: Bumblebee - Left Leg 4

Finally the papercraft Bumblebee's left leg has been completed. I understood that its been like 3-4 months without any major updates, my deepest apology, for my leisure hours are pretty much occupied, considering im on 2 jobs, full time and part time respectively. Thus, im one of those people who work 7 days a week, everyday with least rest.

Back to the subject. On my previous entry, i did post images associate then as part of the Bumblebee's leg, which expectedly left several of my readers in the mist of doubtfulness. Never mind that. Here you are, the left leg of Mr Bumblebee.

Here's the height comparison of the papercraft Bumblebee, together with Human Alliance Bumblebee and Legend Class Bumblebee. The height of the leg itself is around 10 inches tall, so you could imagine the whole figure would be pretty much impressively HUGE!!!

I have a request, though i doubt it would come true. I've been considering to include a watermark/trademark on the photos i've post up in my blog or my facebook, but im not a man with full of creativity. As a result, could any dear readers help to create a watermark for me? Something that includes "Dann", or maybe also "Leong" next to it. Logo? Simple and nice. *pray*

Editted on 13 March 2010: Finally i got my photos filled with watermark. Million of thanks to LEon and the rest of the related parties for their professional guidance... ^^

Paper Craft: Bumblebee - Left Leg 3

Could you figure out which part of the body is this figure relates to?

Its actually the skeleton of the leg itself. In more of biological term, it refers to the femur connecting tibia and fibula. As for the two intermediate points that arches from the centre of the knee, i reckons them as veins.

All in all, there's still plenty of work to be done. Papercraft Bumblebee waiting to come alive.

Paper Craft: Bumblebee - Left Leg 2

Be amazed! This is the leg that im working on, the base. Its still no where near completion, but still, its looks decent and amazing.

The foot itself is 6 inches in length. Its said to be standing at 45 centimeters in height, so its approximately 3 feet high. A massive piece of art.

Brilliant isnt it? How i wish i could have more time to invest in it, im a busy man. Will keep up the good work though. Thanks for dropping by, have a nice day... ^^

Paper Craft: Bumblebee - Left Leg 1

Here's some updates on my Bumblebee papercraft.

With the completed wheel in my previous post, i've constructed the frame for it, touch up a little here and there, making it looks more solid and sophisticated.

It was then follow by the feet, or metatarsal, in football dictionary. While i was working my way constructing it using fragile paper, suddenly i realized that im using the right leg's paper referencing the left leg manual. Its kinda disappointing and frusfrating after much effort being poured in. Detail analysis doesnt show much damage except for the faded color after the "repair" operation. Here's the so called metatarsal.

I doubt i would be able to complete it before the release of the sequel, Transformers 3. However still, its my new found hobby since last year, something that i enjoy doing.

Next week onwards, i'll be working part time during weekends. Life's terrible when you walk along the streets without buying power. Thus, thats what i gotta do to earn some side income to fund my Google Nexus One. This also subject to lesser time in my Bumblebee papercraft.

Success is when you're not giving up. So... JIA YOU AhDann!!!

Paper Craft: Bumblebee - Wheel

After a while, i've completed one of the BumbleBee's wheel. Its part of the leg, formed as a based at the bottom of the leg. Its pretty real to our vehicle when you look at the rims. Here you are;

Believe me, when i said its hard to build such a tiny and detail structure, it really is. Time consuming with only minor return. But still, got to keep on going. Must complete what i've been working on, never give up.

Transformers ROTF Human Alliance Bumblebee

Bumblebee and Sam were best friends almost from the moment they first met face to face. As they learned more about one another, that connection grew deeper and deeper. Now, whether Sam is behind the wheel, or standing side by side with his friend, they work together as a team. Against Bumblebee and his human friend, no Decepticon stands a chance."

Now, let the photos do the talking.

I found it in my room when i got back from work one day. It was from my brother who lives in KL. Not exactly a surprise for me cause i was kind of knew he might be getting it when he ask me how much was it. Nonetheless, its indeed very pleasant to received this as a birthday present. Transformers ROTF Human Alliance Bumblebee. Thanks bro... ^^

Ever since the release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, i've been dropping by at the shops (Toy R' Us, Robot Master and Unique Toys) every now and then to look for this particular figure. However my effort would be, its always out of stock since its a big hit in the market and under the radar of many ROTF collectors.

Ironically, i would be secretly delighted with the response cause i couldnt possibly afford even if its available. No doubt i want it, but it wasnt reasonable and realistic to own it. So, i just pray that the feeling of wanting it my disperse one day. Guess not, cause im now having it. Its so awesome. Its might not be as cool as my SideSwipe, but this BumbleBee is certainly much better, far more solid material, covered in sharp tangerine orange with black stripe. This 2010 Chevrolet Camaro is simply too good!

Paper Craft: Bumblebee - Right Arm

I did said earlier that im going to start on paper craft on Bumblebee didnt i? Now here you are, the right arm of Bumbleebee.

It took me approximately 3 weeks to complete just the right arm itself. 3 weeks is pretty long in terms of duration because, im working and i only got some limited amount of time to work on it. It really amazed me with the end product. GOD i adore it so much!!!

It feels way beyond satisfactory having it completed. Just AWESOME!!! Its like accomplishing one of the challenging things in life. It takes loads of patience and determination to get it done. But success is still far from sight, there's still more to come. Right now, im all pump up to begin the next part of the body.

Paper Craft: TransParkers Bumblebee

Look at the photo above. Just before you scroll any further down, could you possibly guess what is it? And what you are looking at it is not a tarantula.

Here's the end product! So cute isnt it? The TransParkers Bumblebee. It took me 2 days to complete this TransParkers Bumblebee. The details could be found in this website.

Bumblebee and Sideswipe

Bumblebee: Hehe, im controlling Sideswipe... Sit Sideswipe, sit!

Sideswipe: You dare to make fun of me?
Bumblebee: Im sorry. Put me down, put me down... :'(

The hype of Transformers in me still havent going down hill, instead its like a burning fire on a vast green land that just keep on consuming the nearby grasses. I wouldnt say its like a poison, cause i dont collect all of them. The thought of even buying a character is not practical. Its expensive to own, which makes it not cost effective. As a result, until today, i only brought the cool Sideswipe, which is a pure awesome.

After several surveys made and feedbacks received, i've concluded that i wanted to buy a ROTF Human Alliance Bumblebee, or HABB in short. Considering it cost around RM150 on Hasbro release, i have to think twice before deciding to own it. Poor Dann.

Recently i found a site thats able to erase this miserable fate of mine. Its guide you to constructing your own paper craft, and one of it is Bumblebee. Its a Transformer The Movie's Bumblebee.

So i send the downloaded files for color printing. With the total of 25 pages of A4 size paper medium glossy 160gsm, it cost me around RM37.50. The fully build Bumblebee is at 26cm in length, 31cm wide and standing at 45cm in height. With the total number of parts at a stunning amount of 1150 pieces, i bet it would take me months to complete it. Nonetheless, im up for the challenge.

it said to create this version of bumblebee

It might be a troublesome Bumblebee paper craft project, but the thought of constructing it is what that attracts me. And of cause, it might be able to generate a handsome amount of money in return, if its sold of cause.

By the way, i found out that the these websites serve alot of paper crafts are creatives. Probably, you too should check it out.
